If you want to follow the tutorials and projects on this site and test them on Android then use Android Studio. If you want to learn Java and only run it on your Mac then Eclipse is a good choice.

Hey man just wanted to say thanks a lot, first time i found a completed and detailed guide like this, it helped me to overcome the addiction that i was suffering,cause the programming thing change my life just when i was about to fall down, ur work is a masterpiece and i hoped someday to be so rich in knowledge like u, thanks a lot i hope u never stopped updating new information, it really keep me busy and help mewith my problem although i know u are busy with ur work family, so the enormous time u are spending updating info is what i really want to appreciate, thanks goodnights!
